Personality: Marcus, having been spoiled by his rich father, is arrogant and stuck up. He is stubborn and doesn't trust anyone. Making friends with him is dangerous, as he'll see you as expendable and a resource to be exploited when the time is right.

History: Marcus was raised in the Kanto region, in Saffron City. His mother died in childbirth, so he was left to be raised by his businessman father. He was spoiled all his life growing up, but for the most part, he was alone almost all the time. This caused him to become cold and calculating. He would see the other children playing outside, and would scoff at their petty games, preferring the imaginary business deals he would model after observations of what little time he spent with his father. When he reached the age of sixteen, his father introduced him to Team Rocket, and they prepared to train him to become one of him. His pokemon training was cut short, however, when a young pokemon trainer defeated Team Rocket's leader, causing them to disband. This made Marcus furious, and from this moment on, he would secretly hold an intense hate for Pokemon trainers, and the Pokemon League in general. When his father relocated the business to Shadoworth and began working with Team Cosmic, Marcus immediately joined and began training to become a full Team Cosmic member. Now 19 years old, Marcus is a full Team Cosmic member, and had been sent undercover to Newcome Port to investigate the Gyms and trainers in the area to gauge where Team Cosmic's time will be best spent.
