The Third Eye Revealed.

The next day he found himself at Neverseen Forest. "Ace lets train today then I will train with Sona tomorrow okay?" Ace nodded as he jumped down from Kuroi's shoulder and started walking ahead. He stayed closely behind Ace to make sure he did not run off like before. As they walked they saw a pokemon feeding on some berries. Hmm..this seems like a challenge. He thought to himself while pulling out his pokedex.

The pokemon turned their head in Kuroi and Ace's direction. "That is Deerling. The grass/normal type pokemon. Its' body color changes to the current season," said the robotic male voice from the pokedex. Ace spouted water from his mouth out of anticipation for a fight. The deerling rubbed its hoof in the ground before charging at Ace.

"Ace jump and use Slash!" Ace charged forward then jumped into the air as it right claw glowed silver. It slashed downward at Deerling's head as it was met by the tackle knocking them both back. Ace stood to his feet getting ready for round two. The Deerling followed suit.

"Use Ice Fang!" Ace charged at Deerling as his Fangs became Icy. Deerling charged at Ace with his head down showing he was going to use tackle again. The two collided again sending Ace back this time. A loud thud could be heard as Ace had smacked into a tree. Kuroi turned his attention to Ace, but Ace stood back up to his feet shaking his head. "C'mon lets do this!"

"Jump on him then use Slash!" Ace charged at Deerling again as it claw glowed silver. Deerling charged again but this time lifted its legs before firing two kicks at Ace five times in a row. Ace manage to dodge some before getting hit. He stood his ground and still slashed at Deerling. "Do not give up!"

Ace fell back on to the ground. As he did his Fangs grew Icy. Kuroi grinned at what Ace was doing. It was very clever of him. He did not know it would work or not. Deerling walked over to Ace sniffing him. Just as he did Ace opened his eyes and lunged at Deerling's nose. Deerling was caught off guard as Ace bit his nose causing it to rear back in pain. "Very Clever, use Slash to finish this."

While Deerling still was rearing back in pain, Ace jumped forward and slashed at Deerling. The Deerling was caught off guard by the slash and fell back against the tree. "Hey Ace do you mind have a third pal on the team?" Ace smiled and threw his claws up in approval nodding. Kuroi took out a pokeball and threw it at Deerling while it was against the tree.

Kuroi watched nervously as the pokeball settled. He went over to it and picked it up. He smiled at the pokeball. "My third pokemon...com e on out Deerling!" He threw the pokeball into the air as Deerling came out smiling at Kuroi. Ace let out a strong stream of water from his mouth that was different from his normal little battle sprout. "What was that?"

He pulled out his pokedex and the pokedex gave him a short reply letting him know Ace learned Water Gun. Kuroi had a smile on his face. This was just a good day for him he caught a new pokemon and Ace learned a new move. He turned his attention back to Deerling. "You need a nickname...how about Kon? Deerling nodded in approval. He reached into his bag and pulled out Sona's pokeball and threw it into the air as Sona came out landing on her tail.

"Sona meet Kon who is now the third member of our team." Sona waved at Kon as she walked over to him and jumped onto his back falling asleep on him. Kuroi could not help but laugh at her. It seems as if they knew each other already. They probably did since they had the same home. He decided to let all three of them stay out their pokeballs as they headed back to Fauna City for the night.
