Evolution and Move System and Rules Empty Evolution and Move System and Rules

The evolution is general- The majority of Pokemon will evolve for the first time at 40 points, and 80 for the final evolution. If a Pokemon only evolves once, they require 50 points. Now, there are changes for certain types.

A bug type Pokemon takes only 20 points for it's first evolution, and 20 for it's second. If it only has one, the requirement is the basic 40.
A dragon type Pokemon takes 50 points for it's first evolution, and 100 for it's final. If it only has one, the requirement is 60.

Both of these rules are the only ones that respective type has to follow in terms of evolution.

Pokemon that would usually need to be traded to evolve follow the basic rules.
Pokemon that usually require stones and such to evolve ONLY need the stone, and there is no point requirement.

Pokemon that would normally require happiness/friendship/etc or a certain move to evolve follow the basic rules.

Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon and other Pokemon that would normally require a certain time or place to evolve follow the basic rules.

For a Pokemon to evolve, you need to post a minimum of four posts with four sentences each of the Pokemon evolving, and the circumstances why and how.

All Evolutions must be approved by an admin, and posted in the respective Requests area.

The move system is also general, and the same for all types and Pokemon- A Pokemon has the chance to learn a new move from the entire list of moves it can learn every 15 points.

A Pokemon can also relearn a move it has given up OR learn a move from a previous evolution that it has missed.

When a Pokemon evolves, it may learn a new move from the list of the new evolution. This must be requested with the evolution request and does not need a topic describing it being learned.

For a Pokemon to learn a new move, you need to post a minimum of four posts with four sentences each of the Pokemon learning the new move, and the circumstances why and how.

All move learning's need to be approved by an admin, and posted in the respective Requests area.

A Pokemon can only know a maximum of four moves at any given moment. If a new move is being learned while a Pokemon already knows four moves, you must replace one of the old moves with the new move. This does not need to be emphasized in RP.

--**STARTING TRAINERS READ HERE**--
When you choose your starting Pokemon, you may choose TWO moves from the list of moves that Pokemon in that evolution can learn. These are the moves your Pokemon starts with.

--For Moves, this Forum is going by http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/. Use that site for all of your move related decisions.

((THESE MOVES MUST BE REASONABLE FOR THE LEVEL OF YOUR POKEMON'S STRENGTH. This means NO starting out with the higher levels moves for a Pokemon. Admins have the right to deny a move if it seems illogical.))
