Entering the Forest

Zero was simply awe-struck as he entered the vast and thickly wooded forest full of Pokemon. Various bird Pokemon flew above head as plant pokemon searched the ground for nutrients in the fertile and rich soil. Bug were running about the ground and climbing along tree branches as Zero was awe-struck but this sight.He had never even seen so many pokemon in one place before,so he decided to casually stroll through the woods.

His Machop was fully healed now and he was carrying spare Poke Balls for capturing wild Pokemon, as well as a spare Potion in his pack in case Machop was hurt. After double checking his pack for his items, Zero quietly sat down on to take a quick rest. Unknowingly Zero accidentally nearly sat down on a large shrub that began rustling violently.

Zero quickly stood up and quietly backed away from the rustling shrubbery,trying to keep alert in case it was a wild Pokemon ready to attack him without hesitation. Zero had heard of instances before in which some travelers have been ambushed by wild pokemon,while they least expected it so he stayed focused and alert.

The plant rustled more and more,until a fairly large flying,bug-like pokemon popped out of the bushes looking quite agitated and angry.It seemed like a large,red-dragonfly as it buzzed about angrily,circling Zero's head as it screeched loudly. YAANNMA!

"Zero backed away slowly as he reach out for his Poke Ball and tosses it outwards onto the dirt ground,calling out to his Pokemon. "Machop! Help me out here! Karate Chop this thing right now!"

""Machop!" The Pokemon appeared with a vigorous cry as he charged after the Yanma,it's forearm begin glowing as it waiting momentarily to strike the Bug with a sharp Karate Chop.

The agitated Yanma recklessly charged Machop with a burst of speed as it thrusted towards Machop's position attempting to dive right into him for a heavy impacting blow onto Zero's Fighting type pokemon. "Machop! Wait until he gets close,the force of his impact against your Karate Chop will likely knock him down to the ground!"

"Chop! Machop!"

The Fighting type Pokemon,calmly waited for the Yanma to approach him,waiting for a brief second before cocking it's left arm backwards a little bit. The Yanma let out another high pitched scream as it charged at Machop, as it just about to slam forcefully into Machop. Just as Machop swung it's left fore arm downwards in front of himself,the wild Yanma slammed squarely into Machop as well,having both attacks collide into each other knocking both pokemon down to the ground.

Zero watched carefully as both Pokemon got nailed hard falling to the ground, Machop landed on his rear and was slightly disoriented from the impact of the Yanma slamming into him,Yanma was struck down to the ground and although conscious it was having a little difficulty getting itself back up. But both of them staggered onto their feet (and wings) shortly afterwards,although Yanma had some slight difficulty flying properly now.

Zero quickly called out to his Machop,intending to make sure it was ready enough for capture but having it get struck once more.

"Alright Machop,up on your feet! One more Karate Chop should take care of it,now nail Yanma while it's struggling to fly it's vulnerable! Strike it down with Karate Chop!"

Machop quickly ran over to towards the struggling Yanma's position,as it was struggling to fly it tried to evade Machop but it's wing was injured from the pervious Karate Chop. "CHOP-CHOP!"

Machop yelled out in anger with a loud battle cry,as it's left forearm began to glow a faint light-blue color,making a wide downward swing. Machop swing downward with all it's might,the blow from impact once again knocking down Yanma out of the air.

Zero calmly watched as Machop panted a little in fatigue,that previous blow knocked the wind out of him. Machop panted a bit while holding it's left arm and wincing a little bit as it nodded to Zero and smiled to his Trainer. The Yanma was on the floor now,it's wings damaged and it had been momentarily dazed by the blows it received. Zero calmly took out a Poke Ball from his pocket as he tossed it towards the downed Yanma.

"Poke Ball! Go!"

The Poke Ball hit the wild Yanma, and shot out a red laser that enveloped it in a red light over it's body. Yanma was then transported into the Poke Ball which quickly started shaking a few times as Zero eagerly watched the Poke Ball shaking about. After a few seconds had passed,the Poke Ball quivered on the ground a few more times,till a "Clink" could have been heard. The wild Yanma had been sucessfully captured!

"Yes! Great job Machop! Rest up now in your Poke Ball,and thanks for your help!"

Zero quickly pulled out Machop's Poke Ball as he returned Machop into his own Ball,and then walked over to the Poke Ball containing Yanma,adjusted it onto his belt and casually walked out of the forest.
